Nejilka Arias (Exclusive for She By JMartich)

Nejilka Arias 16 years old, is a Dominican and Spaniard model who started her adventure in the world of  fashion last year when she did a charity show. In combination with her modeling career she's about to graduate from high school and is also working as production intern at Marc Jacobs. Nejilka is currently seeking new representation for modeling in the US and overseas. Arias is a superstar in the making!.

















Patricia Van Der Vliet


She is currently signed with Elite Models in Amsterdam, New York Model Management in New York, Union Models in London, Elite Model Management in Paris and Milan, Munich Models in Munich and Action Management in Athens. Patricia  made her runway debut during Spring/Summer 2010 shows in New York, Milan, and Paris, she walked for Celine, Dries van Noten, Herve Leger, Karl Lagerfeld, Kenzo, Loewe, Nina Ricci, Sonia Rykiel, Sophia Kokosalaki, Valentino and Yves Saint Laurent. She opened Louis Vuitton and BCBG Max Azria.

Shortly after her runway debut, style.com and models.com named Patricia one of the top-10 newcomers that season, making her one of the most buzzed about faces of the moment. After her successful debut, she appeared in editorials for a lot of blue chip magazines, including Numéro, Interview, W, Allure, French Elle, and Italian, Japanese, British, Chinese, Russian, German, and American Vogue.
She appeared in campaigns for Balenciaga, Burberry, Sonia Rykiel, H&M and Nicole Farhi and lookbooks for Alexander McQueen and Bergdorf Goodman. She also walked for the S/S 10 Couture show of Givenchy and the F/W 10 and S/S 11 Couture show of Valentino.
In August 2010, Patricia appeared on her first Vogue cover for Vogue Beauty, Nippon (Japan). She also appeared on the cover of the November 2010 issue of Vogue China, alongside American supermodel Karlie Kloss, making it her second Vogue cover. In April 2011 she appeared on the cover of Vogue Nippon Isetan Mania, the supplement cover of Vogue Nippon.
She also appeared on the cover of the January 2011 edition of Elle France and the Spring/Summer 2011 cover of Grey Magazine, shot by Ellen Von Unwerth, following in the footsteps of the likes of Karolina Kurkova, Constance Jablonski, Hannelore Knuts and Karlie Kloss.  Patricia is currently ranked 46th on the international model ranking website models.com, first for any Top Model contestant.



























Coco Rocha

style of dance. Coco was just 14 years old when an agent spotted her at a dance competition; she was subsequently invited to model for him and the up-and-coming beauty was soon rubbing shoulders with the superstars of the fashion world.

Coco wasted little time in diving into her new profession, with a fortuitous encounter with famed photographer Steven Meisel kicking her career off with a bang. Steven, impressed with Coco’s fresh-faced looks, teamed her up with fellow models Gemma Ward and Amanda Moore for a photo shoot. Thereafter, it wasn’t long before Coco found herself in demand among such high-profile designers as Anna Sui and Marc Jacobs. Coco even received the opportunity to put her Irish dancing skills to use when designer Jean Paul Gautier asked her to open his Fall/Winter 2007 show by dancing down the runway.

Coco’s visibility within the mainstream increased exponentially in May of 2007 when she was featured on the cover of a Voguespecial issue devoted to the next generation of supermodels, alongside such familiar faces as Jessica Stam, Hilary Rhoda and Raquel Zimmerman.

Ilyes Kaddour was born on December 15, 1989 in France, he has been modeling for almost two years now. Ilyes also compose, write and draw. Eventually he would like to enter to cinematography. 
























Eva Fydrych (Exclusive for She by JMartich)


Eva Fydrych is a Polish model who started her adventure with fashion 4 years ago in London, UK.
Approached by a scout from a local modelling agency, she signed an exclusive contract with Mission
Models and started to take part in fashion shows and photoshoots for emerging English designers like
House of Boing, Nathalie Agnus, Nancy Dee, Harold Bernard, Mouille Beachwear and others. She
walked the catwalk during London Fashion Week, Croydon Fashion Festival, Wimbledon Fashion
Week and other smaller shows in London.

After moving to Asia in 2008, she had an opportunity to work in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and
Thailand and shoot with many talented photographers. She took part in I Nuovi Cosmetics summer
campaign, Mediacorp bridal fashion show and appeared in Asian fashion magazines like Scene and
Aeris Magazine. Other projects included promotional work for brands such as GAP, Goldheart
Jewellery and Chijmes Singapore.

In May 2010 Eva represented Poland in World Supermodel Pageant in Australia. She was chosen from
hundreds of applicants from around the world and made it to Top 18. Taking part in the pageant was an
excellent opportunity to walk the catwalk for an Australian designer Hills in Hollywood and shoot for
Fashion TV Oceania.

Eva has some acting experience gained in the UK and had a chance to work with a famous movie
director Micheal Gleissner on “Girl with No Number” that was filmed in Cebu, Philippines. She also
finished Acting for Film workshop at New York Film Academy. She currently lives in Toronto, Canada.

Usman Ojibara (Exclusive for She byJMartich)

Usman Ojibara was born February 24,1986 in Newark, NJ. His parents are both Nigerian natives. He comes from a large family being number 6 of  7 children. Usman spent most of his life involved in sports mainly basketball. Then shortly after graduating high school he went to college, but after a series of events he stumbled into the fashion world late in 2008. He took a liking quickly to the creativity involved in the modeling world. Since then he has covered Obvious Magazine twice( Being the first person to ever do that), shot editorials, and walked NY Fashion Week. He has worked with Domenica Vacca and Dionisio Vasco. Recently Usman has transitioned in acting to show his range and ability to perform on another level, he's seeking new representation for modeling in the US and overseas . Usman is a superstar in the making!.







Omahyra Mota

Mota was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic but moved to New York at the age of 10. She was first discovered by Boss Models at the age of 16 and has since made quite an impact on the world of modelling. As a Model Mota has modeled for designers such as Bill Blass, Cynthia Steffe, Fendi, Nina Ricci, Sean John, Baby Phat, Heatherette, Jean Paul Gaultier, Roca Wear. Also, she was flown in especially by Gwen Stefani for L.A.M.B.'s show during New York's 2005 Fashion Week. As an actress she has had roles in a few films, making her acting debut in Brett Ratner's After the Sunset and then appearing in State Property 2 in 2004. Recently Mota has attracted some attention by landing the role of Arclight in the upcoming X-Men movie, X-Men: The Last Stand.






Noémie Lenoir

Born September 19, 1979 in the town of Versailles, France. Noémie was discovered at the age of 17 by a former model who took her to New York City and introduced her to various modelling agencies. This led to Noémie working with famous fashion photographers like Mario Testino and Peter Linbergh resulting in shoots being published in such magazines as Vogue, ELLE, Marie Claire, and Sports Illustrated.

In 2001 Noémie signed with L'Oréal, and has appeared in their advertisements alongside French supermodel Laetitia Casta and long-term spokesmodel and actress Andie McDowell. 
More recently, Noémie has turned her attentions to acting and has had minor parts in several successful French titles and also appeared opposite Pierce Brosnan and Salma Hayek in the film After the Sunset.





In the spring of 2004, she met and married the French footballer Claude Makelele and on January 24, 2005, Lenoir gave birth to a boy that they named Kelyan.  NoemieShe is represented worldwide by Elite Model Management.










Ajak Deng



Ajak Deng was born December 7, 1989 in Sudan and fled to a Kenyan refugee camp with her parents and four brothers and three sisters in 2003 after civil unrest erupted. During that time her mother passed away from malaria and she became the mother to her six month old sister. By 2005 her family was given the opportunity to move to Australia, Ajak has not looked back. Ajak quickly began to model and made her debut at the 2008 Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, since than she has been in high demand in Australia and abroad. Ajak has been predicted as the next supermodel following in the footsteps of catwalk queen Naomi Campbell as she continues to leave her mark on the ramps.






Selita Ebanks


Discovered by Women Model Management at age 17 in an amusement park, Selita Ebanks has quikly risen the rank to become one of the most sought after and respected models of her generation.

A Native New Yorker of Caymanian, Jamaican, Irish, Indian and African descent. Selita is a reflection of beauty inside and out, she has graced the covers of Esquire and Hampton Style, been featured in Vanity Fair and was chosen as one of People's Magazine Most Beautiful People of 2007 and 2008.

Jordan Dunn


London born Jourdan Dunn was discovered in a local Primark at 16 by the legendary agency Storm Models (who also discovered Kate Moss) and has been unstoppable ever since. Voted the British Fashion Council's "Model of the Year" in 2008 as well as being of the 4 cover models for Vogue Italia's iconic Black Models issue, July 2008. Has walked the runways for nearly every top designer and making history as the first black model since Naomi to strut for Prada, Jourdan is a bona-fide star. Gave birth to son Riley in December 2009.

Rose Cordero
  Rose Cordero was born in 1992 in Dominican Republic, in 2008 starts her career as a model walking in the Dominican Fashion Week, later that year signs with Wilhelmina Models in New York, 2009 leaves Wilhelmina and signs with Supreme Management, now she's part of Frod Models. Feb 2009 debuts at the fall Burberry show in Milan, also walks for MaxMara, Francesco Scognamiglio, and Louis Vuitton in Milan and Paris.  Constance Jablonski
Constance moved to New York from Lille, France in September 2008, and has since become one of the most coveted faces in fashion, walking a total of 62 shows in New York, Milan and Paris for the Autumn/Winter 2010 season including Rodarte, Derek Lam, Donna Karan, Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Fendi, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga and Dries Van Noten and shooting editorials with the world’s top fashion photographers, including Steven Meisel, David Sims, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Mikael Jansson, Mario Sorrenti, Craig McDean and Patrick Demarchelier. Constance recently appeared on the cover of Chinese Vogue and in editorials in the American, British, French and Italian editions of Vogue.  Ming Xi
The 20-year-old Shanghainese Ming Xi was signed by Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci after finishing in the top 15 of the Elite Model Look competition. In her professional modeling debut, she walked exclusively for the Givenchy label in their spring 2010 couture show. She is the first Chinese rep for the brand and is featured in Givenchy’s fall ad campaign. Ming also graced the fall 2010 runway shows for Jil Sander and Christian Dior.

Rose Marie Ortiz grew up in Springfield, Massachusetts, from a young age knew this is what she wanted to do, Although she is a powerhouse beauty in a petite size, she has never let that stop her from pursuing modeling. 

She started at the age of 16 in Virginia beach VA, from day one modeling has always been in her blood. Best known for her multi-cultural ethnic look, being Puerto Rican, Spaniard and 
Caucasian background has always made her stand out. Rose is currently represented by

 Megan Lewis ( Exclusive Interview for ShebyJMartich)

Megan spent most of her youth in the suburbs of Chicago learning that quitters never win, and winners never quit. Mainly learning about that first part. Having quit everything from ballet to trumpet playing, karate to a co-ed fraternity, by the time modeling came to be, she was ready to quit quitting.

Well overdo, modeling was the perfect opportunity to make the most of all of her dance and arts experience, plus, incorporate some of the gumption she acquired during her brief stint as a cocktail waitress.

Now, she's represented in both Chicago, USA and Cape Town, South Africa, and has been featured in publications in Italy, France and the US. Megan is experienced in editorial and commercial print, runway and on-camera. She’s best known for her curvy yet model-sized figure, her multiethnic look literally spanning the globe, and her strong aptitude for movement with over a decade of dance experience.

 Catherine Villegas (Exclusive Interview)
Catherine Ivette Villegas is a Puerto Rican model born and raised in Chicago. She has been featured in several local Chicago fashion shows with OverEdged events, JM Couture, and Minx Parlor; has worked with Malachi Artese, Coal N Terry Vintage, Sheila A. Rashid; and has worked with over 20 local Chicago photographers, including among the many Gary Blanks, Jorge Gera, Yaneck Wasiek, and Sergio Vasquez, as well as artistic painter Leek Ovision. She has also been featured on channel 26 WCIU the U in fashion segments with Aleah Fashion Express and Chicago Cover Magazine.


Not only does she have a passion for modeling, but she is also aware that having brains is crucial in order to be successful. She is pursuing her bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Sociology at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she will graduate in May 2011. She received the Gates Millennium Scholarship by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation which is paying her college education until she receives her doctoral degree. Catherine also volunteers as a paraprofessional at the Intouch Crisis Hotline, which is available for people who are undergoing difficult times and need support, and interned at the Greater Humboldt Park Community of Wellness on the “With Me Comes a Cure Social Marketing Campaign,” which inspired community action against HIV/AIDS. Her hobbies are being active in her community, dancing, exercising, and she also would love to pursue acting.










 Freja Beha Erichsen

Discovered on the streets of her native Denmark by a modeling agent passing by in a taxi.Erichsen made her debut as a model in 2005 at the fall Paris and Milan shows of Prada, Louis Vuitton, and Miu Miu (which she opened). She continues to walk the runways of New York, Paris, Milan and also London, both in the Ready-to-wear and Haute Couture seasons.

 Erichsen has walked for Shiatzy Chen, Chanel, Dior, Gucci, Burberry, Alexander Wang, Balmain, Balenciaga, Christian Lacroix,  Zac Posen and Sonia Rykiel, among many others.








 Ashley Howard ( Exclusive Interview for shebyjmartich)

Ashley Howard, a.k.a. Lorelle, was born in Chicago, Illinois. She moved to NY with her family and began singing, acting and dancing. She never thought about modeling until she made it onto "America's Next Top Model", for the short cycle in 2009 ( TV Show hosted by super model Tyra Banks). Ever since then, she has continued to work on her music and modeling and isn't stopping anytime soon.

Malaysian beauty Gwen Loo, is our choice of this week. She was born in Penang, Malaysia, in 2007 signed with Elite Model Management New York.





Alek Wek
Alek Wek originated from the Dinka tribe of southern Sudan.The civil war forced her to escape to London at the age of 14, where she learned English and went to the London School of Fashion. Naturally and fresh, the african Important designers like Jean Paul Gaultier, Christian Dior, Chanel and Valentino have chosen her for their fashion shows.  In 2005 appeared her first handbag collection “Wek 1933’’ according to the birth of her departed dad.
In addition to modeling, acting and designing, Wek is involved with several health care organizations. She is a missionary for “World Vision’’ againstAIDS, a member of “U.S. Committee for Refugees”, breast cancer research and charities that focus on the wellbeing of children.







 Frida Gustavsson
Frida Gustavsson, the Swedish stunner was born in Stockholm on June 6, 1993, and signed with her mother  agency, StockholmsgruppenIMG and set to conquer the Western market.


Her debut came at the Fall Valentino Couture show in Paris, where she also walked for Elie Saab. Later that year she stormed New York and graced the runways of the fashion capital’s biggest names, including Calvin Klein, Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren, and Marc Jacobs. Since then, Frida has built a lovely collection of print work, with editorials in L’Officiel, Vogue, and W to boot. In January 2010, couturiers in Paris got a run for their money when she walked an impressive five shows: Armani Privé, Elie Saab, Valentino, Chanel, and Christian Dior.


Known for having great off-duty style and boasting a well-selected iPod library that features Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, and the Velvet Underground, we see nothing but stars in this beauty’s future.

Arlenis Sosa 
Arlenis Sosa Dominican Super Model, is our choice of the week. She has walked for some of the most prestigious designers and Fashion Houses in the world, including  Emanuel Ungaro , Bottega Veneta, Oscar De La Renta, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan, Narciso Rodriguez, Carolina Herrera, Anna Sui, Jean Paul Gaultier, Hermes, Victoria Secret's, and many others. In 2008 Arlenis became the face of  Lancome. Sosa is not only a role model on the runways and  covers of magazines, she's also in society by helping children from her country Dominican Republic throughout "The Arlenis Sosa Foundation", which helps kids with pediatric diabetes in Santo Domingo. Arlenis has been chosen as the image of the 2011 Campaign on Human Trafficking by the United Nations, Latin America.
